ResidentCare Medical is a mobile GP service dedicated to residential aged care. Led by Dr Nicholas Biehl, we provide scheduled rounds, continuity with a named doctor, and bulk-billed GP care for Medicare-eligible residents. There is no physical clinic and no walk-in patients.
A doctor who knows them
Each resident has a named GP who knows their history, medicines and wishes.
Regular, reliable rounds
Scheduled visits on a regular round. During business hours we return urgent nursing calls as promptly as we can. After hours arrangements will be confirmed with each facility. For emergencies call 000.
Bulk billed GP care
All Medicare-eligible GP services are bulk billed, so residents pay nothing for their GP visits. Some non-Medicare services, such as certain reports and forms, may attract a fee, which we will always discuss first.
For facility managers
Dependable medical cover for your residents, without a clinic on site. We agree a round day and contacts, register residents who choose us, contribute to care planning with your nursing team, and keep documentation clear.

Residents
Welcome and register
Joining is voluntary. Residents who choose us are registered, and records are transferred with their consent. Residents can keep an existing GP.

Assessments and care planning
Each resident is offered a comprehensive medical assessment, and we contribute to their care plan with your nursing team, reviewing it through the year.

Regular rounds
Scheduled visits, clear notes and orders, and medication reviews on time.
For residents and families
Moving into aged care shouldn't mean losing a doctor who knows you. We visit your family member where they live. We keep you informed after significant changes, and whenever you'd like an update — with the resident's consent, or through their nominated decision-maker.
